MWN exists to bring healing where there has been hurt, and hope where there has been silence.
We provide trauma-informed, culturally responsive counselling, psychotherapy, coaching, and education to support individuals from all backgrounds - particularly those affected by emotional distress, depression, anxiety, marginalisation, or systemic disadvantage.
MWN promotes access to safe housing as a vital component of mental wellbeing, particularly for individuals fleeing from domestic abuse.
We also provide educational support, including language learning for children and adults, to empower migrants and survivors with the skills needed for confidence, independence, and community integration.

Therapist Trainee at MWN
Are you currently training to become a counsellor, psychotherapist, psychosexual & relationship therapist, or counselling psychologist?
If you're passionate about supporting a diverse community, we’d love to hear from you.
We also offer in-person placements through our Low-Cost Counselling Service at our Greenwich centre for those who are at Level 4 diploma and above.
MWN supports trainees to work within their chosen modality and training approach, offering a valuable opportunity to build experience and confidence on the path to qualification and accreditation.
All trainees must hold student membership with BACP, BPS, COSRT, NCPS, or UKCP.
Placements at MWN
Placements at MWN offer a valuable opportunity for trainees to build confidence, apply theory in practice, and gain the clinical experience needed for qualification.
We’re committed to supporting your development through training, mentoring, and regular supervision from experienced clinicians. You’ll work with a diverse client group facing issues such as anxiety, depression, and emotional distress.
Most trainees carry a caseload of 3–4 clients per week, helping to meet clinical hour requirements for accreditation. Placements are available for both in-person and online sessions.
We welcome student counsellors, psychotherapists, psychosexual & relationship therapists, and counselling psychologists working towards accreditation with BACP, BPS, COSRT, NCPS, or UKCP.
